Direction For Use: Ingredients For 2 Cups Traditional MilkTea

* Water – 1.5 cups

* Milk – 1 cup (or as per taste)

* Assam tea leaves – 2 teaspoons

* Sugar – 2 teaspoons (or to taste)

* Ginger, cardamom (optional – for flavor)

Preparation Method: 

In a saucepan, add 1.5 cups of water, 1 cup of milk, and sugar to taste. Place on medium heat and bring it to a gentle boil.Once the mixture starts boiling, add 2 teaspoons of Assam tea leaves You can also add grated ginger or crushed cardamom at this stage for extra flavor.

Let it simmer well:

Boil the tea for about 4–5 minutes so the color deepens and the flavor is fully extracted.

Strain and serve:

Once the tea turns rich in color and releases a pleasant aroma, turn off the heat. Strain the tea using a sieve and serve hot in cups.

Tips:

For a stronger tea, add a little more tea leaves or increase boiling time.

For black tea, skip the milk and just boil tea leaves in water.

 For a healthier version,replace sugar with honey or jaggery (add honey after boiling – do not boil honey).
